I’ve stayed at Camping Kathy Dave multiple times now, and every visit has been an absolute pleasure. Kathy and Dave are excellent hosts—so warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. The campsite is set in a beautiful orchard, surrounded by nature and filled with lovely birdsong, which makes it the perfect peaceful escape.
They even offered to take me wine tasting, which was such a fun and thoughtful experience. In the warmer months, they also host a BBQ—you just bring your own food, and they provide the grill and good company. It's a great way to meet other campers and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
During my most recent stay in April 2025, it got a bit chilly at night, and Kathy kindly offered me a hot water bottle—such a sweet gesture! Luckily I had a heater in my van, so I was nice and cozy.
Can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic spot with genuinely kind and attentive hosts, this is the one!Visited in April

We absolutely loved our two night stay at Kathy's and Dave's campground. Kathy and Dave are the best hosts one can imagen and we have met so far in France. From the second we arrived at their campsite they made us feel as we are friends. The immediately invited us to the BBQ the next day with all the other campers and they even took us to the local wine cave to taste some very good wines.
The campsite is located in a beautiful orchard on the edge of a quiet village.
No noise from passing trafic only the rustling of the leaves on the trees and the birds singing.
All the other campers on the campsite were just as nice as Kathy and Dave. They all go there since many years and knwo each other. We had some very interesting and healthy conversations with them and they made is feel very welcome.
It's a pitty we could not stay longer!Visited in June

Very friendly camping owner, we were a bit later then expected but we were welcomed with a hug from Dave and a free bottle of delicious wine. Camping was completely empty and is in a beautiful apple garden. Sanitary and facilities was great. Definitely a camping where you get treated very nicely. Loved it!!

Lovely people and very welcoming. The site has everything you need and is clean. We stayed for one night as a stop over on our way to Lacanau, but we wish we had stayed longer. We will definitely be coming back.

We had lovely two nights on this beautiful and quiet pitch from Kathy and Dave! We felt very welcomed by this lovely couple, also our dog Chilli. The sanitary was clean which was also important. We will definitely come back sometime !

What a lovely site. Kathy and Dave couldn't have been more helpful, gave us some local wine and bread because we couldn't find a shop open! We only stayed one night unfortunately! Just sorry we didn't get to say goodbye as they had obviously gone to the shops to get supplies for their BBQ, which unfortunately we had to miss Thank you guys xx

We had such a lovely time here, a beautiful small site with very welcoming hosts, Kathy and Dave. The area is very peaceful and the local wine delicious. Thank you for organising our wine tasting, a wonderfully authentic experience and a great opportunity to stock up for our journey ahead! Stayed 4 nights last month in Kathy & Dave's lovely orchard. They could not have been more welcoming and he lpful. They spark up their BBQ for guests to use! Beautiful, quiet and peaceful site with loads to do and visit nearby. Think they are open throughout October this year.

Enjoyed your company, both of you. Your Dutch friends are still here, enjoying wine in the Loire Valley with us.
Kathy and Dave are the best hosts EVER! A lovely little site in the beautiful Loire Valley would perhaps sell it, but Kathy and Dave give it so much more! They are kind, generous and sensitive people and couldn't do more to make sure we enjoyed our stay to the utmost. We've been camping / trailer tenting / caravanning in France for the last 35 years and this is one of the best!
